Course Details:

This course is all about helping you cope when someone we love is dying. Full recognition is given to the feelings of helpfulness - it is hard to know how to help, what to do and what to say. Yet the premise is that if we know how to listen and what to look for, the dying themselves can often supply the answers, letting us know what they need to hear to allay their fears and face death with serenity.
The course is divided into three sections that cover many experiences and stories of people who have shared their intimate experiences with patients at the edge of life:

The main works covered in the course include:

  • Introduction to nearing death awareness.
  • Accepting & knowing when death will occur.
  • Requirements for a peaceful death.

Accreditation:

When you have completed this course you can take an optional final examination which you take from home just like the course itself. Further details will be sent to you during the course and before it is completed. Those successful will receive a Diploma from ITEC - Irish Training & educational Centre.

Registration:

A non refundable registration fee of €65 is payable when enrolling for this course.
