This course really teaches you how to draw and paint and you learn in the comfort of your own home. When you are ready, and only you can decide, you can show the results of your work to family and friends and perhaps begin to start earning some money for your work.
The course commences by advising you on the materials and equipment required and follows this with getting you started both drawing and painting. It then goes on to cover such topics as working outdoors, still-life, interiors, flowers and figure composition.
There is a separate section on explaining texture, patterns, line, tone, colour, shape and composition while the final section is concerned with presenting your work. This includes mounting, compiling a folder, displaying, framing, and exhibiting.
Accreditation:
When you have completed this course you can take an optional final examination which you take from home just like the course itself. Further details will be sent to you during the course and before it is completed. Those successful will receive a Diploma from ITEC - Irish Training & educational Centre.
